I completed the previous chapter (the ds9 one) and I have no idea how that relates to age of discovery. but yeah during the 1st mission they mention some previous battle that I was part of. I never watched Discovery and probably won't.

So don't know what they did regarding mission level requirements. Players used have to be level 50 and have finished Sphere of Influence before they could use the Dyson Gateway. My new KDF Alt accepted a mission to fly through the Dyson Gateway to meet Tuvok in the Delta Quad. SInce made those changes, it seems players could start the Delta Quad mission right out of the tutorial, or find go to Dsync9 and start the New Frontiers. Something not confusing to New or Old players. Which once you've finished those, you tossed out into solarwinds to pick and choose which story arcs, you feel like doing, while doing them in whatever order you want.Ĭryptic sort of tore out the back binding of the STO seasons/chapter linear story, where we used to go from say doing the Borg missions then New Romulus missions leading to gateway going into Solanae Dyson Sphere.
